Writer's picture: Maharlika LobatonMaharlika Lobaton

This is yummier with the magic of natural sweetness with richberry's miracle berry. While cooking, grab half of the berry. You don't have to eat the whole berry just to defy the taste. 1/2 of it creates a massive miracle inside your mouth. Try it!

Ingredients:

12 oz mushroom

½ cup hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon crushed red chilies

1 teaspoon salt

2 mince garlic cloves

½ cup water

Preparation

1. This extremely simple recipe requires you to mix all the ingredients and cook it in a slow cooker.

2. Allow it to cook on low flame for 3.5 hours.

Serving

Use a big large soup bowl for serving with mint leaves on top.

Variation

Sweet potato can be used instead of mushrooms.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
