richberry Luscious Lemon Snaps

The best cookies for lemon lovers, this lemony sour taste will have a yummy candy-like taste after you swoosh richberry on your mouth. Remove the use of sugar, and only have richberry. Try it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest

  • ¾ cup of vegetable oil

  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C ). Grease cookie sheets.

  • Step 2 In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, and lemon zest. Make a well in the center and fill it with the oil, lemon juice, and vanilla. Stir everything together until it forms a dough. Alternate method: Put everything into the food processor and blend until dough forms.

  • Step 3 Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown. For a softer cookie, bake for only 7 minutes. Cool on racks, and store in an airtight container.

Consume Miracle Berry:

Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.


Fact:

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.


Note: Sometimes you may need to add at least 5-7% of the total quantity of sugar required, this is due to the chemistry of the food, however, you may skip this as you wish. The goal is to totally reduce sugar and yet experience the same taste.
