Richberry Recipe: Sour Smoothie

Feeling a little under the weather lately?


All you need is a magical sweet-to-sour experience to reinvent your taste buds with this recipe that saves you as much as 21 calories. Enjoy sweetness without the sugar by pairing it with our Richberry.



What you need

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • 1 orange, peeled

  • 2 limes, peeled

  • 1 kiwi, peeled

  • 1 to 2 Richberry halves

  • 1 lemon, peeled

How to make

  1. Gather the ingredients

  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

  3. Pour in a glass and ENJOY!

Chew the Miracle Berry:

Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berries (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.


Fact:

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yogurt, and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.


Note:

For cakes and pastries, you may need to add at least 5-7% of the total quantity of sugar required. This is due to the chemistry of the food. However, you may skip this as you wish. The goal is to reduce sugar consumption but experience the same taste.
