Richberry Recipe: Blueberry Lemon Smoothie

No better way to make SQUEEZE THE DAY with a smoothie that gives you higher calorie savings.


Pair this with 1-2 halves of Richberry to make the most out of your taste-bending sweet experience without the added sugar or calories.





What you need


  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 lemon

  • Zest from 1 lemon

  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract

  • ½ cup non-fat milk


How to make


  1. In a large high-powered blender, add in all ingredients and blend on high for 1-2 minutes or until all ingredients are well combined. If necessary, add in more almond milk to thin the smoothie. Makes 1 smoothie. Garnish with lemon zest and more blueberries and granola.

Chew the Miracle Berry:

Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berries (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.


Fact:

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yogurt, and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.


Note:

For cakes and pastries, you may need to add at least 5-7% of the total quantity of sugar required. This is due to the chemistry of the food. However, you may skip this as you wish. The goal is to reduce sugar consumption but experience the same taste.
