A fall treat where you can get hooked to the taste especially with richberry. Try this without using sugar and experience the magical taste of sweetness.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oranges

  • 1 gallon apple cider

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 6 whole cloves

  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice

Directions:

  • Step 1 Remove orange peels with a vegetable peeler or knife. Cut oranges into slices.

  • Step 2 Place orange peels and slices in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®). Add apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, and allspice. Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 6 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

  • Step 3 Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Remove spices and orange peel with a slotted spoon and discard.

  • Step 4 Serve mulled cider warm and garnish mugs with orange slices.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
