richberry Invisible Gin

This cocktail is refreshing, citrusy and spicy. It’s a little too good and easy to forget the strength of the booze. Invisible Gin is one of my go-to cocktails which transform magically into sweeter taste without even adding sugar or sweet syrup. Enjoy eating your richberry and take a plunge on your invisible cocktail.

Ingredients:

1½ oz (44 ml) gin

½ oz (15 ml) apricot liqueur

1 oz (30 ml) fresh pineapple juice

½ oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice

½ oz (15 ml) Ginger Syrup

Sparkling water

Fresh pineapple chunks, for garnish

Candied ginger, for garnish

Cocktail pick, for skewering garnishes

Method:

In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, apricot liqueur, pineapple juice, lemon juice and ginger syrup and shake with ice. Strain into a highball glass over ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish with the pineapple chunks and candied ginger on a cocktail pick.

Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Warning: Alcohols are for over 21 years of age and above. Drink responsibly, do not drink and drive.
