Writer: Maharlika LobatonMaharlika Lobaton

Chamoy is spicy plus the citrusy flavoured mango, pineapple and lime, this recipe is perfect with richberry. Experience the candy-like flavour without added sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced fresh mango, frozen

  • 1 (6 ounce) can pineapple juice

  • ½ lime

  • 2 teaspoons chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®)

  • 2 tablespoons chamoy (Mexican chili fruit condiment)

Directions:

  • Step 1 Combine frozen mangoes and pineapple juice in a blender; blend until smooth.

  • Step 2 Rub lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip in 1 teaspoon chili-lime seasoning. Juice lime into the glass; add 1 tablespoon chamoy and 1 teaspoon chili-lime seasoning. Pour in 1/2 of the mango-pineapple mixture. Add remaining chamoy sauce and top with remaining mango-pineapple mixture.

Consume Miracle Berry

Just before enjoying your salad, chew 1 or more halves of freeze-dried miracle berry. Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
