richberry The Pearl of La Paz

Who's into coconut but wants to try something different with rum? This drink is for you. Perfect pair for richberry to modify the taste from sour-bitter to sweet mouth-watering cocktail. You wouldn't need any sweeteners anymore. Just richberry and you can party all night without scrunching up.

Ingredients:

¾ oz (22 ml) mezcal

¾ oz (22 ml) scotch

½ oz (15 ml) Campari

¾ oz (22 ml) fresh pineapple juice

½ oz (15 ml) fresh lime juice

? oz (11 ml) Cinnamon Syrup

? oz (11 ml) Coconut Cream

2 strawberries, for blending

Strawberry, for garnish

Pearl, for garnish

Freshly grated cinnamon, for garnish

Method:

In a blender pitcher, combine the mezcal, scotch, Campari, pineapple juice, lime juice, cinnamon syrup, coconut cream and strawberries with 6 to 8 ounces (170 to 227 g) of crushed ice and blend. To make the strawberry rose, with the bottom end of your strawberry pointing upwards, make a small slit to one side of the point, but do not cut all the way through. Use your knife to very gently curl the tip of the slice into a “petal” by pressing it back. Repeat on the other three sides until you have four “petals.” Make another row right above the one you just made. To finish the rose, make a slit down the tip and press back gently to curl. Place the pearl in the middle of the rose. Pour the drink into a clear tiki mug and garnish with the strawberry rose, pearl and freshly grated cinnamon.

Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Warning: Alcohols are for over 21 years of age and above. Drink responsibly, do not drink and drive.
