richberry Spicy Grapefruit Sidecar

Spicy and sour, this recipe doesn't need sugar or artificial sweeteners. Just have your richberry and you'll experience a natural yummier taste. Not to mention, you also curb your calorie intake.

Ingredients: Grapefruit wedge, for rimming

2 tsp. chili powder Ice 2 oz. cognac 2 oz. grapefruit juice 1 oz. Cointreau Grapefruit slice, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Rim glass with a grapefruit wedge. Combine chili powder on a small plate and dip rim into mixture, turning to coat.

  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add cognac, Cointreau, and grapefruit juice. Shake until chilled.

  3. Strain into rimmed glass and garnish with a grapefruit slice.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
