Richberry Recipe: Strawberry-Green Tea Smoothie

🍓A combination of sweet strawberries, tangy lime, and earthy mint and green tea makes this smoothie balanced and refreshing!

It's packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, and if you keep green tea ice cubes in your freezer you can make it in a flash!

Pair it with 1-2 halves of Richberry, and you're in for a healthy ride.

What you need

• 1 green tea bag

• 3/4 cup very hot water

• 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved, plus 1 sliced strawberry for garnish

• 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

• 1/2 Lime, juiced

• 6 fresh mint leaves

• 1 to 2 Richberry halves

How to make

1. Steep the tea bag for 2 minutes in the water, remove the bag and allow the tea to cool.

2. Pour the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid, at least 2 hours.

3. Put the strawberries, milk, lime juice, honey, and mint into a blender and blend until almost smooth.

4. Chew 1 to 2 halves of Richberry while blending.

5. Add the green tea ice cubes and continue to blend until very smooth.

6. Garnish with the sliced strawberry.

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yogurt, and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Note:

For cakes and pastries, you may need to add at least 5-7% of the total quantity of sugar required. This is due to the chemistry of the food. However, you may skip this as you wish. The goal is to reduce sugar consumption but experience the same taste.
