Richberry Recipe: Chia Seed Smoothie

Want a SNEAKY and FUN way to add protein and anti-oxidants to your morning smoothies?

Try this tasty Chia Seed Smoothie!

Compliment this drink with 1-2 halves of Richberry and you are in for the sweet ride - without the calories!

What you need

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (or any frozen berry)

  • 1 banana (room temperature)

  • ½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • ¾ cup milk (or almond milk or oat milk)

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1 ½ tablespoon maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup

  • ½ cup ice

  • 1-2 halves of Richberry

How to make

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary.

  2. Chew 1-2 halves of Richberry while blending.

  3. If desired, garnish with a strawberry.

Chew the Miracle Berry:

Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berries (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.


The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yogurt, and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.


For cakes and pastries, you may need to add at least 5-7% of the total quantity of sugar required. This is due to the chemistry of the food. However, you may skip this as you wish. The goal is to reduce sugar consumption but experience the same taste.
