richberry Piña Colada

Pineapple juice is rich in fiber and vitamin C. This characteristics from what they call the royal fruit makes it one of the most favorite ingredient in cocktails and juices. Being one of the world’s most favorite mixed drinks, this pina colada is rich in sour-bitter taste mixing fruity goodness from pineapple and rum. This is perfect for richberry's miracle berries. Just one bite before you dive in to this refreshing summer tropically drink, and you wouldn't need any simply syrup just to make it sweeter and friendlier to your taste buds.

Ingredients:

1½ oz (44 ml) aged rum

1½ oz (44 ml) Coconut Cream

1½ oz (44 ml) fresh pineapple juice

1 pineapple

Pineapple shell, for vessel (see tip)

Coconut flakes, for garnish

Orchid, for garnish

Cocktail umbrella, for garnish


Method:

In a blender pitcher, combine the rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice with 6 to 8 ounces (170 to 227 g) of crushed ice and blend. For extra flavor, add a few pineapple chunks. Pour into a hollowed-out pineapple shell. Garnish with coconut flakes, the orchid and a cocktail umbrella.


Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.


Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.


Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
