richberry Onions with Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Perfect for snacking. Sweet potatoes have natural sweety blend in our mouth. In this recipe, the use of citrusy juice is a perfect partner for richberry. Just one bit of the miracle berry and dig in! Experience the yummier sweety flavour minus the use of sugar.

2 medium sweet onions, cut in 1" chunks

2 5" long sweet potatoes, peeled and cut in 1" chunks

1/2 tsp leaves thyme

1 dash pepper

2 oz orange juice

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 dash salt

3 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Set oven to 425ºF

Combine all ingredients except almonds in a baking bowl and mix to blend.

Cover and bake for 30 minutes; uncover and bake for additional 20 minutes.

Garnish with almonds and serve.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
