This easy breakfast, snack or even on-the-go treats is fully packed with vitamin C. With its citrusy flavour and no sugar added, you are going to enjoy this fruity yoghurt with naturally sweet with richberry's miracle berry.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 12 oz Greek yogurt

  • fresh berries

Instructions:

  • Make the compote by mixing the berries, and lemon juice in a small non-reactive saucepan. Let it sit for 20 minutes. After the berries have mascerated and released its juices, set the saucepan over low heat and cook for about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl to cool. You can use the compote immediately, or if you wish, store it in a covered container in the refrigerator until ready to use.

  • Place 2-3 tablespoons compote in the bottom of 4 glass jars. Top with about 3 oz Greek yogurt and fresh berries.

  • Enjoy the yogurt cups immediately or store tightly covered in the refrigerator.

Consume Miracle Berry:

Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact:

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
