richberry Mexican Martini

Writer: Maharlika LobatonMaharlika Lobaton

It's time-consuming to make but it's worth it especially you won't be using a lot of effort in mixing because you need to blend everything with sugar. In this recipe, we don't need sugar. That only Richberry can make this Mexican cocktail taste like candy without even adding sweeteners.

Ingredients:

  • 4 limes, juiced

  • coarse salt

  • 2 jalapeno-stuffed green olives

  • 2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers premium tequila

  • 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger orange liqueur

  • 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) lime juice concentrate

  • crushed ice

Directions:

  • Step 1 Moisten the edges of two martini glasses with a little lime juice and then dip moistened edges into coarse salt. Place an olive in each glass.

  • Step 2 Pour remaining lime juice into a cocktail shaker and then add tequila, orange liqueur, sweetened lime juice, and sugar. Fill shaker with ice, shake vigorously, and strain into prepared glasses.

Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt, and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Warning: Alcohols are for over 21 years of age and above. Drink responsibly, do not drink and drive.
