Writer: Maharlika LobatonMaharlika Lobaton

Try this frozen mango cocktails in a spiked pop. Have a bite of richberry's miracle berry and finish all these infused mango sorbet on a stick without worrying the sour taste.

Ingredients:

3 cups mango sorbet, softened

1/4 cup Shiso Sake

2 teaspoons finely grated lime zest

Pinch Maldon sea salt

Method:

In a medium bowl, stir together all ingredients until combined. Pour a cup of the mixture into each of 12 (3-ounce) cups or into ice pop bags. Arrange on a small sheet tray and place in freezer. Check the pops after 30 minutes once they begin to freeze, insert pop sticks (if you insert sticks before pops start to firm up, they'll tip over). Freeze until pops are solid. Let pops sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes and then gently remove them from cups. Serve immediately.

Mocktail Pops (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Warning: Alcohols are for over 21 years of age and above. Take/eat this pops responsively as it is made with booze. Not advisable for kids, pregnant and lactating women, and people advised by medical professionals not to take alcoholic drinks.
