richberry Mango Lassi

Lassis come in all kinds of flavors, some are salty, some are sweet, some have mint, some have fruit. A mango lassi is basically a yogurt based mango milkshake or smoothie. And since yogurt and mangoes have low pH levels, it makes it perfect to be paired with richberry.

Yield: Makes about 2 cups

INGREDIENTS

· 1 cup plain yogurt

· 1/2 cup milk

· 1 cup chopped very ripe mango, frozen chopped mango, or a cup of canned mango pulp

· A dash of ground cardamom

· Ice

· 4 teaspoons sugar

METHOD

Put mango, yoghurt, milk, and cardamom into a blender and blend for 2 minutes.

If you want a more milkshake consistency and it's a hot day, either blend in some ice as well or serves over ice cubes.

Sprinkle with a tiny pinch of ground cardamom to serve.

The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
