richberry Clementine Whiskey Wine

Just have your richberry's miracle berry first before siping this strong flavoured cocktail. You will enjoy the taste since your tongue is coated with miracle berry's magical syrup.

Ingredients: For the Clementine Syrup:

  • 4 clementines, peeled and segmented

  • 1 cup water

For the Cocktail:

  • 3 ounces Clementine Syrup

  • 3 ounces whiskey

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

  • 3 ounces Gallo Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, for floating

Instructions:

  1. Make Clementine Syrup: In medium saucepan, stir together clementines and water. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer, pressing on fruit to extract as much liquid as possible. Refrigerate until cool. Makes about 1-1/2 cups simple syrup.

  2. Fill two rocks glasses with ice; add a few cherries to each glass, if desired. Fill cocktail shaker with ice; add Clementine Syrup, whiskey and lemon juice, and shake well.

  3. Pour whiskey mixture over ice in glasses. Pour wine floater over top of cocktails by slowly pouring wine over a small spoon set over each glass.

Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Warning: Alcohols are for over 21 years of age and above. Drink responsibly, do not drink and drive.
