richberry Chocolate Kahlua Cake

You may notice it is not as sweet as expected because everything used are naturally no-sugar ingredient. To make it more intriguing we remove the use of sugar to experience natural sweetness by using richberry.

1 (18.25 oz.) box devil's food cake mix

1 small (1 oz.) box sugar−free instant

chocolate pudding mix

1 C. nonfat vanilla yogurt

1/4 C. vegetable oil

1/3 C. skim milk

1 large egg

3 large egg whites

1/3 C. Kahlúa liqueur

1/3 C. semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Coat a 13 x 9−inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and dust with cocoa.

Place all ingredients except chocolate chips in a large bowl. Beat with mixer for 2 minutes or until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool before cutting.

Consume Miracle Berry:

Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Note: Sometimes you may need to add at least 5-7% of the total quantity of sugar required, this is due to the chemistry of the food, however, you may skip this as you wish. The goal is to totally reduce sugar and yet experience the same taste.
