richberry Bumble Bee

This drink is basically a Honeysuckle cocktail. richberry, however has defy the normal ingredient which is expected to have honey to sweeten like what bumblebee does. In this recipe, we remove the honey syrup and let bumble bee transform into a new sour-bitter taste. Experience transformer bumble bee change from sour-bitter to sweeter taste as you pair it with richberry. No sweetener, no sugar, just natural taste with magic.

Ingredients:

2 oz (60 ml) aged rum

¾ oz (22 ml) fresh lime juice

1 large egg white

Dash of Angostura bitters, for garnish


Method:

In the small side of your Boston cocktail shaker, combine the rum, and lime juice. Place your egg white in the larger side of your tin and dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white. Fill your shaker with ice and vigorously shake again. Strain into a coupe glass and then drop your dash of bitters on top.



Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.


Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.


Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
