With strong Russian flavour plus sour flavoured ingredients like tomato, this is a perfect cocktail for you. Minus the use of sweeteners, you can make one with a more natural sweeter taste that would even reduce your sugar or calorie intake.

Ingredients: For the Bloody Marys:

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (save squeezed lemon to use for rimming glasses)

  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed

  • 2 cups tomato juice

  • 2 ounces vodka (or more!)

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • Pinch of kosher salt and ground black pepper

  • Splash of sriracha

  • 4 teaspoons Everything Bagel Seasoning

For the Garnishes:

  • Celery Stalks

  • Dill Pickles

  • Chopped Bell Pepper

  • Green Olives

  • Lemon Slices

Instructions:

  1. Make the Bloody Marys: In a cocktail shaker, muddle lemon juice, horseradish and celery seed until celery seed is crushed. Pour in tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and sriracha; stir until well combined.

  2. Pour Everything Bagel Seasoning onto small plate. Rub the rims of two glasses with lemon; dip and twist into seasoning mixture until rims are covered in mixture. Fill glasses with ice; pour Bloody Mary mixture over ice. Garnish as desired and serve immediately.

Mocktail (non-alcoholic): If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.

Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.

Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.

Warning: Alcohols are for over 21 years of age and above. Drink responsibly, do not drink and drive.
